About Me
Hi, I’m Jessica, the baker behind Marigolds & Grace Kitchen.
I grew up in a family where good food was important. My mom, grandma and Oma all cooked and baked from scratch, and some of my favourite memories are tied to the comfort of homemade food shared with the people I love.
When my mom was diagnosed with celiac disease about 15 years ago, I began learning how to bake gluten-free. At the time, gluten-free options were pretty limited, and I quickly discovered that I didn’t want to settle for baked goods that were simply good for gluten-free. I wanted the muffins, cookies and scones we already loved—just without the gluten.
Over the years, baking has become one of my favourite creative outlets. I love experimenting with recipes, using quality ingredients and finding those little details that turn something simple into something really delicious.
Marigolds & Grace Kitchen grew naturally from that love of baking. Everything is made from scratch in my dedicated gluten-free home kitchen, in small batches and with the same care I put into baking for my own family.
My hope is pretty simple: to make really good, homemade baking that brings back some of the comfort and joy that can be harder to find when you have to eat gluten-free.
Because gluten-free should still taste like the baking you remember.
